Mike brings over a decade of expertise in green building and sustainability, championing environments that prioritize occupant health. As a Senior Sustainability Consultant in our Performance Testing Studio, he leverages his extensive background and experience as a WELL Performance Testing agent to advance health and wellness in built spaces.

As a key member of our Performance Testing Studio, Mike travels throughout the US and Canada conducting WELL Performance Verification testing and LEED Indoor Air Quality assessments. Together with our team, he has conducted testing for over 4 million square feet of certified spaces. He also provides technical expertise through in-depth reviews of WELL project applications and serves as a subject matter expert on the WELL Thermal Comfort concept Advisory.

Born and raised near Lake Michigan, Mike developed a deep connection to nature among the forests and sand dunes of his native Michigan. His lifelong passion for cycling translates into a lot miles spent on two wheels—whether commuting, training, or exploring. Today, Mike lives in Grand Rapids with his wife and two children, where he continues to embrace the outdoor lifestyle that shaped him.
